Hut I would love to come buy I just started a new job when I get a advanced written schedule I will try and let you know something as for the signal it was alone but very close to this bullet I believe is a chess pice and 32 drop bullets in a 3 foot long hole

Those DMC's are wicked deep machines once you learn them and the conditions are right. I know they will pick up a button at 20 inches in good soil. Great job!

I'll add to it by saying that the "two little other pieces" are thick solid-cast brass rectangular loops, which function as sliding belt-length adjusters. They have a smaller opening at the top of the long rectangular loop. See the photos below. To see them "in use" on the leather belt (and get more info), go to pages 534 and 535 in the book "American Military Belt Plates" by O'Donnell & Campbell.
