Re: "INTERESTING" [TODAYS FINDS]

Thanks for the replies,Sorry gypsy i didn,t even think to take a camera or a md which some-one mentioned. ??? ??? DSE support crew only engage in in back-burning,control lines and hot spots. Most of the 200 locals that went are only basically trained. The real fire-fighters where the S.E.S and the Country Fire Authority. We spent 3 days siting around a sport ground just waiting. The main fire fronts were about 40 miles southeast of us.By what info i could get this mess is going to take till march to clean up.Over 2 million acres was burnt out.The main objective was to build containment lines and fire break as another out break doesn't occur.Remember our summer quite often lasts into early April which in fact is Autumn. No fighting heros here just local doing there bit.

Re: "INTERESTING" [TODAYS FINDS]

That may have been used to melt lead in. They had to put the lead in something to melt it so they could make bullets. Just a guess. Nice finds Tin. Tsgman
