Today's finds from Lebanon PA. The Rolex was 4 inches down. I suspect it is a fake ladies Rolex as it is gold plated. The jar lid and glass insert is a Presto Jar Lid and Closure. Found another of these but all bent up. My wife tells me that the bottom middle item is a needle threader. The thimble is a Hoover/Curtis campaign thimble.

Doing some research and finding that some Rolex watches actually were gold plated (gold wrapped).

I know they made some gold and nickel plated ladies watches as a matter of fact they made a ladies heart band watch very similar to the one you found. If this is authentic and I think it is, it was made around the 1930's more of a costume jewelry unlike the men's watches of that time. I think it was around the 50's when they completely stopped manufacturing the cheaper watches.

It's a cool find for your collection.

Thanks for sharing, Dennis.

Very cool find, and would get anyone's heart beating quicker reading the maker's name.
