Big day planed only to find out if you pull batterie plug on at pro when standing up batterie back will fall out and hit coil and break in two. All though garrett is good at replacing fast no using that machine today. Just a heads up

Still waiting now 11 days for Garrett to send my replacement coil after they said it would be sent.......perhaps it was due to friday but emails (2) regarding shipment remain unanswered..........can't say I am too impressed with Garrett at this point.

Sorry to hear doc-d. Garrett most of time comes through fast but in past I have always called them instead of e mail. Maybe tomorrow is the day Good luck !!

The battery holder is a bit of a weak link. I've sold a few replecements. It's not a bad idea to have a spare. And even be carefull when installing new batteries, holding it from trying to spread lenthwise when putting the batteries in. Garrett should have beefed this part up a little by now, it's the same holder that also comes with some older models, it been around awhile.
