Roman Metal Working Site - Day 2...

[CRUSADER]

This was our last go on the field as the Wheat is in & it will be growing next week. 4.5 hours

We completed (with the 2 hours yesterday) about 70% of the known area.

46 Roman bronze Coins (pictures to follow)
2 Roman Silver - although 1 heavily plated & the other debased (pictures to follow)
2nd C AD Roman Horse Brooch - good find Cru'dad
2 early fibula - circa 1st C BC-1st C AD
Lots of bronze blobs not pictured (metal working evidence)


Once again Land-Mag had the find of the day & his detecting career.
