This was our last go on the field as the Wheat is in & it will be growing next week. 4.5 hours

We completed (with the 2 hours yesterday) about 70% of the known area.

46 Roman bronze Coins (pictures to follow)
2 Roman Silver - although 1 heavily plated & the other debased (pictures to follow)
2nd C AD Roman Horse Brooch - good find Cru'dad:hello2:
2 early fibula - circa 1st C BC-1st C AD
Lots of bronze blobs not pictured (metal working evidence)

Once again Land-Mag had the find of the day & his detecting career.:icon_thumright:

Now you got us all wondering once again on what Land Mag has dug up, best find of his detecting career now it must be a stonker of a find.

The horse is really so cool and would be great in any display, well done on that one Cru'dad.:icon_thumright:

Roman Coin pictures added at top.

The surprise was a Nero 'As' which is an Emperor, that we very rarely get.

Cru, GREAT day!
Don't you think the horse could have been enamel led?

Best of luck to you guys!
