I didn't even know they used grape in the revolution. Cool! I would have thought it was from a ball-mill . . . You sure got into a pack of it!

That is a lot of canister shot. I only find the cw type. You got a bucket full and it cleaned up well! :thumbsup:

Fantastic find on the grape shot. But as Cannonballguy stated in this thread the shrapnel ball wasn't invented untill 1803 so these are not from the Rev. war but could be from 1812 war or on up to the CW. Still a great find.

If they were found in the salt water they WILL need electrolysis, if not I think that they will be just fine.
