I got out just before it got dark, I had 45 minutes to detect before it got dark. The coin was just laying on its edge, 1859 cent, I spotted it as i was walking, the second coin an 1881 cent, it is a little eaten away. The buttons of coarse surface finds like the bone knife handle I think. I will get out detecting as long as I can, the winter is coming, this week is gong IMG_0068.JPG IMG_0069.JPG IMG_0070.JPG to stay mild.:hello2:

I have many 1859 pennies, I think on one site I have found 15. This year seems like it is like finding the bank tokens, they are really common as well. This style of the 59 is quite common, I was hoping it was the 1858, I have not found one of those yet, like the 20 cent peace, maybe some day.HH8-)

Nice find Brian! :occasion14:
I'd also love to find a '58 as they were only 421,000 minted, as compared to the '59 where 9,579,000 minted!

Here's a '59 I found earlier this year, the condition on it was pretty decent!
