Found my first gold ring yesterday(the plain band), found my second gold today. Today was a good day, got my first multi-silver day, both in one hole(the '63 quarter, and '64 dime) also got an IH yesterday(1903), and 2 wheats today. All in all it has been my best two days yet. I figure that two gold in two days is a pretty good start to spring.

Here's the pics I promised yesterday, with todays stuff added in -

You have two very nice rings. I can imagine the excitement when you found them. HH

Excellent finds!

I would suggest wearing one of those rings (if it fits) for good luck.

It will also remind you of how great of a day you had.

Congratulations!

Actually they are children's rings, very small. They don't even fit on my wifes pinky. However, I understand that finding a childs/infant ring is pretty hard to do, so I'm taking it as a good omen for the season. Over the winter I found a swimming beach that was used extensively - VERY heavily, until about 1935. Now people sometimes hike to it to go fishing, other than that it has been unused for 70 years or so. I am also waiting permission to hunt a property that supposedly has $250,000(yes THOUSAND) buried somewhere on it, the rumor is supported by taxroll evidence among other things. I guess you could say that after starting with two gold rings, I am expecting good things this season!!!!

Yeah, I'd say a couple good days. IH, silver and Gold. Very nice. I have yet to find a solid gold band. Gotta start digging more tabs I guess. ;D
