My first silver coin find !!

Finally found my first silver coin, a 1947 S Quarter. It's amazing how bright the silver was coming out of the dirt. Ok, it sounds a little geeky but I was really excited.

Found lots of clad , a clad half dollar, 8year AA coin, bullet casings, one lead fired bullet or ball not sure, two small silver beads, three Wheat Pennies. .......... REALLY fun day !!!!

Great first silver I'll never forget mine. I got real lucky on my first silver it was a 1893 barber dime with O mint mark. I have a pic of it on my phone somewhere I'll post pic if I can find it. Can you tell I'm still excited about when I got my first silver? And it's been a while ago Lol you will never forget it.

Congrats on your first silver- a nice one at that! My first was a 61-D Rosie, second was a 48 Washington. You started with a quarter, hopefully your second will be even bigger!

My first was a quite warn 1917 walking liberty, then an Ike dime... Still waiting for a third and it has been a really long time... The good finds elude me and I have gotten excited to find clad halfs and Sacajaweas...a silver ring the other day really got me going, but was again disappointed it wasn't gold... After all it seems that it is about what I am going to find, rather than what I have found already!. Keep it up, find lots of treasure...
