I got a couple hours in on a house that dates back to the 1850's. No real old coins yet, except for a couple Wheaties, but I did come up with this Western New York and Pennsylvania Railroad brass switch lock. This railroad was incorporated in 1887 from the reorganization of the Buffalo, New York and Philadelphia Railroad and reorganized as the Western New York and Pennsylvania Railway in 1895, so I guess this puts the date of this lock some time between 1887 and 1895. I was pleased to find it. HH!

Great find. My g-grandfather was a brakeman on the W.N.Y.& Pa railroad.
