Buttons found from an old homesite. Some of them have backmarks I can read others not so much. There used to be a button location on this site but I couldn't find it Sorry if it's still here and I just missed it.

You must be talking about T-Net's "What-Is-It?" forum.

Based on their backmarks, your brass 1-piece flatbuttons date from approximately 1810-1840, except for one which is strictly 1842-44.
Photo #2: Backmark "ROBINSONS EXTRA" was made by the Robinson Company of Attleboro Massachusetts.
Photo #3: Backmark is "BEST QUALITY" with a wreath below. A generic "quality" backmark, could be either British-made or US-made.
Photo #4: Backmark is "---- ORANGE COLOUR" (a reference to the color of the gold gilt. British spelling of color as colour means it is British-made.
Photo #5: Backmark is "GEO. FLOYD PHILADELPHIA" - buttonmaker George Floyd was in business in Philadelphia only from 1842 to 1844.
