3 Coppers & a Huge Bell

Got out to my old virgin site. Seeing it is on a rise it dries out pretty fast, so after all the rain we got I figured I should hit it up before it would dry out.

Was able to sneak out 3 more coppers (KGII, KGIII & some other KG). Also got 2 more buttons, part of a shoe buckle & the biggest Crotal bell I have to date. It was only partially buried.


On a side not I got a hydration pack for my back pack, man is it so much better than carrying water bottles.

That crotal must have been for a Clydesdale.That is the biggest I have ever seen! Great finds.

You have a Machin's Mills there, but not sure how far you'll be able to get with the ID.... but it's clearly 1787, so a start. Might be able to nail it.
