Hello all, I met up with Civilman today. He took me to a relatives house to hunt today.I believe he told me the house was built in 1855.After about ten minutes there(signals everywhere), I dug the triangular buckle, it was at 6 in. I its an old suspenders back buckle? After about a 1/2 an hour I got a solid quarter hit that bounced back and forth from dime to quarter.I knew there was silver in this one.About 5-6 in down was this 1959-D quarter.I showed civilman, thinkin this must be a good sign. The rest of the day was spent clearing trash.I did get some sort old looking buckle at 7 in.I think its copper or brass, its got a beautiful green patina on it. I dug a chewed up buckle. The pointed thing has some solder on the tip so I guess its the tip broken off of a soldering iron. I dug a 48 wheat,a 60-d lincoln and two zincolns. It was a great day and I had a great time.Thank you civilman. Please help with dates or IDs on the two buckles.

Thanx for lookin,jimmy

Old houses can be trashy. Congratulations on the silver quarter and the buckle.

Nice work. Old stuff is really cool. Sometimes I wonder how it is that people are leaving their belt buckles in the ground. But they do.

Nice finds Jimmy.
