I love that the very first coin I dug in my new yard was a silver. However I hate that I must dig a lot of this: junk.jpg to find these: dirty.jpg

Dug a small section of my yard today for an hour and managed these keepers, 1975 nickel, 1956wheat, 1892 V nickel! and the other items here: clean.jpg thanks for looking and HH!!

v nickle! heck I would be happy for the wheatie at this point! and you even found silver! You should come to my place and try to even dig... the word dig here is a joke, more like a jack hammer spot or hammer and chisel. all that to find out it is trash, hoping it is a coin, even a stupid penny. yep, you have a pretty good spot my friend.

Cool digs, wish my yard would yield old coins, thats what I get buying a house build in the mid-1970's.

Look at it this way, time is on your side. No competition, just take your own sweet time. Dig some trash until you clean it up. THEN, the goodies are all yours.

Love the V nickel. I'm moving into a new house on the 28th that was built in 1902. I have lots of yard to hunt. Hope there are more coins than junk. ;-)

I just want find one v nickel. nice job

Me too, I'd love to find a V nickel. I have detected in my yard and found wheats, Canadian, but no silver. So far a bucket of trash. First place I'll hit when my machine comes home from warranty.
