AT PRO
I took my AT PRO for a walk this afternoon to a field that has produced a King George 1/2 penny, an 1844 Canadian Bank 1/2 cent token, and an Indian head that was too toasty to read the date. I have also found a bunch of flat buttons. I had dug one silver looking flat button but other than junk was no having much luck. It was getting a little dark so I started back towards my house when I got a high pitched signal on my AT PRO. About 6 inches down was this big flat button. As I brushed the dirt off, I could see it had a much more ornate design than the buttons I normally find. I thought right away GW inaugural, and when I washed it off I wasn't disappointed.

I have to add that where I found this is an old home site and full of iron junk. I had hunted it with my MXT and my Eagle Spectrum without much luck, but the AT PRO seems to see through the junk.

Beautiful! Gold in all the right places! Go back and check for more. These buttons appear in clusters sometimes.
