This is the fourth copper I've found in the same field, it's a toasted 1778 Connecticut. I had a feeling
I would break the 1800's barrier at this location. This is the first state copper for me and another coin
off my list.

1787. Nice finds. Should be a good site with old coppers coming out of the ground. Go slow and keep at it.

Greylock this field I've been working is very large . The farmer has been haying a portion of the field at a time and now he's on his second time around already.
So I'm sort of gridding the field off by following him around. I hope maybe the second time around I'll find some old silver and more L C's.
