Copper looks to be a George III Irish halfpenny - young head 1766 or 1769. 2nd is above my pay grade... but very interesting!

very interesting bronze/gold item you dug. Looks handmade like it could be Native American. You try to get some clearer pictures of both side of it and post it in the "What's It" forum.

edit: Looks like a deer or horse on one side and fish on the other. It's either a colonial era token or a one of a kind Native American relic

Whatever that gold colored coin is it's really cool. Hope it's a one of a kind native American artifact. That would be phenomenal.

I'm VERY skeptical when it comes to gold being found in here. Especially gold coins. That coin should be very heavy. By the looks of it, it could be real, and something very special. Never seen anything like it. Hogge

Sorry, doesn't look gold to me, I think its meant to be a copy of a very ancient Jewish (maybe) coin.

This is fascinating me. Really curious how this turns out. Was it an old house you were hunting? The two fish are interesting. The above post about the Ceylon coins, as well as this Phoenician coin..Two Tunny Fish | Ancient Coins Online
