Went to two schools today for 3 hrs total. The ground is very dry, tried out my new digger. It works really well getting into the hard ground.
Nothing special for finds, but I'm happy to get out and MD!
Hope you all are making great finds! image.jpg

Murphy must be pre-occupied! The pic loaded! Shhhhh! Yeah!

Looks like it was fun, I got one of those Chucky Cheese tokens not long ago , it is interesting that they date them, mine was a 2006.

Nice hunt.

Those Chuck E. Cheese tokens seem to be everywhere.

So, what kind of digger are you using anyway??

Lady... you surely were very busy for those 3 hrs... THAT'S FOR SURE! You did great it looks like.

I especially like the 1776 lead pencil... :tongue3: (I'm a pencil expert also) But I'm partial to ya anyway.

Thanks guys!
It was Déjà vu today! For 4 hours! We took today off so Naturally I got in some detecting! Went to the school field where I found 35 quarters where the lady gave me one. Well the same lady was there jogging but she didn't give me quarter this time I scored all 36 on my own plus someone's stamp of approval "well done" . Lol!
My new digger got into the pic as well! I can wedge it under the target and literally stand on the handle to pry it up! The thing is awesome and the serrated edge is sharp, already cut my self on that! Lol! Thnkyou Frankn for your advice!

WADIFIND- if you ever need a spare "key" just let me know, how is the Blingster and Fishy?

Thank you for dating that lead pencil for me Limitool, that's my oldest to date! It will go right in my display case! And Right back at ya!

I get one of those tokens about every other week, but then I hunt schools and parks.

Hope you all had a great Labor Day ! image.jpg

Pic worked again! Now I know Murphy is away! He he!

I actually busted my digger today. I couldn't believe it.
It's an Ames digging tool from Home depot and I really liked it.
It's my own fault for abusing it but I can't complain. I got far more than my ten bucks out of it. The handle actually cracked when I was prying a huge rock out of the hole.

Luckily I had a heavy garden trowel in the car that I took a grinder to and sharpened one edge. It works great and will hold me over until I pick up something else.

I use the same one in the woods. Be careful though because sometimes they mix non tempered steel ones with the good tempered ones hanging from the same hook. They look very similar and they're the same price
