Got out this weekend and found a few goodies. Got a 1945 Merc, skeleton key, a few teens and 20s wheats, and a few mystery pieces.

First one if a Shapleigh coffee 5 cent token. I looked online and found another that was found metal detecting, but no other info. Any ideas on age or rarity?

The second piece is some kind of (maltese?) cross. Unfortunately I can't read the lettering that is around the sides. Not sure of metal, but certainly not silver or precious metal.

The third piece I can only read "OF" on the top right. Unfortunately not much else is there. Any ideas? HH all!

I like the coffee token! Somebody on the forum should be able to ID that stuff.

The "OF" looks to be an "International Order of Odd Fellows" medallion of some sort.
I think that the Maltese Cross thingy is Post Civil war, I believe G.A.R. related.
I dug a 5 star shaped medallion with the same center piece, but in way worse condition.
The token is probably from the late 1920's to 30's.
But it's a token.
Tokens are always good.
Therefore, you did good.
Very, very good.
Kudos!

The Maltise cross is an 1883 Woman's Relief Corp medal.........the other looks to be an IOOF ID tag for your keychain? (as Curbdiggercarl said)

Company has been around quite awhile, I would say token is from early 1900's to the teens. Found the sister token just like yours for Victor. Could not find any rarity attached to it. But thats not to say yours is not.great find, congrats.

I like that you pointed this out, and to me, this item would be a notable find regardless of it's age or what it commemorated:

The "all seeing eye" (like the one over the pyramid on the US one dollar) is the symbol for the Ancient Order of the Free and Accepted Masons; many of whom were Founders

56 Signers - Declaration of Independence
9 Freemasons were signers or 16% of the total signers.

39 Signers - U.S. Constitution
13 Freemasons were signers or 33% of the total signers.

74 Generals in the Continental Army
33 Freemasons were Generals or 46% of the total amt. of Generals

nice finds and thanks for sharing!
