I have been hunting at a lake with my hubby, trying to learn our machines and having a great time. These are our combined finds. The rings and cross pendant are all sterling. 3 wheaties, 1946 nickle, token and lottsa clad and sinkers! There was and is a ton of bottle caps and pull tabs. Seems like the coins are getting older each time we go, guess that is good.

Was pretty excited to find the James Avery pieces, hope I can get the rest of the tarnish off. Thanks!

Thats some great finds for your first month. Is that a musket ball, third from top right, in the first pic?
Also that button with the anchor on it looks interesting. Well done.

Nice job you might be finding older stuff because you've removed a lot of loud surface signals and hearing quieter deeper ones.
This looks a little flat for a musket ball but it looks like it might be a lead bale or sack seal

Great finds and I'll say it's good that coins are getting older.
You're probably also getting better each time you use the machine.
That's a nice haul.

I've found many bale seals... maybe do a search take a look and see what you think.
If you would like I could post a few of mine
