A 1917 Mercury. Which is diffficult for my area in southern california. Super stoked about this one. She aint pretty but I love her anyway

Very nice old dime Wheatsweep! It will clean up easy, that is if you want to clean it. It looks to be in really good shape for as old as it is! I think, if I'm not mistaken, 1917 was only the second year for the mercury head dimes. My first mercury dime was a 1918 and it has a lot of wear, much, much more than your beauty! Congratulations!!! Great Merc! Most the time you see those dates super worn and barely readable, that one is a good one!
