Thanks Chug and Red, but, just as an aside, and between you and me, I think Fishy is the one who's more likely to think that expansive. I somehow, just don't see Blingie as being the brightest bulb. Ya know? ;)

Hope you're doing well!

Well, without a date right on them, it can be tough. But, you can get an idea from the style
and by the manufacturer or by other names/info on the keys. Kinda like a mystery puzzle.

Thanks!

Well, that's another reason I think these are a little bit old. There is remnants of either a ring or chain still in and thru some of them. So, they've been in the ground long enough to rust completely thru and away.

Sure made it an interesting day! :)

Thanks!

Have found several full sets of keys before and even ones that were on that beaded steel that had decayed all the way, still a good find in my book because at least it makes the hunt interesting !! I found a huge set of keys one time, turns out they used to have motorcycle meets / shows there, and they were all for Harleys (must have been duplicated keys), the keys I had found sure did not look like a motorcycle key to me or say it on them, had some guy who hounded me off and on and did you find a bunch of Harley keys ! Finally I was like what does a Harley key look like?? Show me some ! Wonder how many of them broke off in ignitions later on because they were in the soil for a number of years? Still I guess he could have had duplicates of the dupes made again tho.
