The Sword in the Dumpster

Saw a house was being cleaned out on my way home from work. Had my truck so decided to rummage through the big dumpster and bring home some treasures. Alas I didn't find any gold or silver this time, nor did I find anything really useful for use around the house. But I did find this ceremonial Knights of Columbus sword!

This is how it happened, I looked down into the dumpster under piles of wood and I saw something shiny. I reached in and pulled on the shiny thing. To my amazement it was a sword sheath. Then I thought, what are the odds that the sword is in there too. Sure enough I looked in and saw the blade - I had pulled the sheath right off the blade! So I reached in again and grabbed the blade and pulled out the entire sword. It is in like-new condition! I am so excited to have found this sword! Who throws a sword in a dumpster!?

I am so excited to have found this sword! Who throws a sword in a dumpster!?
