Been so busy have not had a chance to post my finds on here for awhile, there backing up pretty bad. Lol. Found this 3 weeks back here in Vegas in a small desert area which was close to where a Mormom Fort existed in 1855. I have been told its part of a cannister shot used sometime after the 1860's. I do not have a scale so I cannot give weight, please let me know what your impressions are on this. Also included a painting of the fort in the 1860's. Thanks.

unfortunately, it looks like a milling ball to me. if it were canister shot or a cannonball, it would be more rusty. milling balls are generally pitted like that. had i found it, i can tell you that i would have had a heart attack for sure though!

Pretty cool Ray, little different from your usual finds.
