CRAP! It was to good to be true...sigh,well I had a good day at it across the river at the park, spent 6 hours swinging and about an hour talking to 2 gents my age who were extremely interested in my

doings, they both thought about getting a MD,I just had to show them the SIMPLICITY of the M-6:laughing7:
I ended up with 42 quarters..51 dimes..13 nickles..24 inch CRAP and a small 925 ring.

Looks like the next swing time will be Wed.for me,gonna be 48....so they say.:laughing7:

GOD Bless

Chris

Very nice silver ring Chris! :occasion14:
Amazing how much 'fake' Italian gold jewelry there is out there, people seem to find it daily on here! :icon_scratch:

The good thing about finding a chain like that, as I did as well, is that you wont be so easily fooled the next time. Nice silver.

People in your park where you hunt must just throw money away on the ground, so anybody can find it if they look down. That is really great finding that many silver coins all in one place in a park. GREAT HUNTING!!!!!! In time you could pay for your detector.

Ah, the notorious 14K Italy stamp. Always fake. I've had my dreams shattered by finding two of those in the past.

Great finds Chris!

I'm not swinging, alas I'm cutting firewood!

Maybe someday I'll get ahead of the stove and do some swinging...

It's NOT even cold yet!!!

I've seen lots of jewelry salesman selling these chains, mainly at the gas stations. "Say bro, I just ran out of gas and am trying to make it home. I have this nice gold chain I'll sell you cheap. Here is a receipt where I just paid $200, I'll let you buy it for $50. Happens all the time around here with the same 14k Italy mark. I know quite a few people who have actually fell for it. RC
