Well, we have been trying hard to clear our property where the old house stood.
So I was able to detect a little today in the fresh, cleared space and found a bunch of iron but managed to pull out a few different oddities. I'm hoping one of you smart folks might can help me identify what the heck they are....

The button I thought was originally a penny modified, but looking at the size of a standard penny, I don't think so.
Next, the tag reads
Atlanta No. 18
Grand Council
Fulton No 505

Reading sideways... May 16-18,1912
And a state symbol and reading Georgia Florida

The bottle is just an old Bludwine. I believe it to be around 1916.

Interesting finds. Very cool! The pendant or token looks to be in the shape of a suitcase and reminds me of something Masonic. Best of Luck!

Kudos to you Iowa Dale! I just did a little searching and found it is, in fact, an old Carhartt's overalls button. Wow you are good!!:notworthy: It also solves the mystery of a similar button, just not heart-shaped that I found over a year ago. Thank you!

But I am still not having much luck with the metal tag item. I might need to put it on the "what is it thread" for a lil help.

Thanks to all for looking! Karen

The tag does look Masonic. I'm about 99% certain it is. I would start a search for grand lodge of Georgia and look for Grand Council with tat date. Just a guess. WH
Very nice finds.
