Got a invite form a friend to go to one of his spots after work the other morning. So after get the green light from the wife I headed out. He told my this spot has been pounded over the last 2 years but usually that doesn't matter to me. Well as you can see I had a great day. The pewter I was my first confederate button of the year and in fantastic condition. The lined I was my last target for the day. Thanks for looking

2 x CS buttons in one day is an awesome day! I am still trying for my first ever CS button. though I have hunted CS sites and found civilian and eagle buttons; an actual CS button has eluded me... congrats on a great day!

I to recently found two block I buttons. My first Confederate buttons. The spot I was at had also been hunted hared. Just goes to show that you never get it all. Congratulations on a great hunt.

I love it all! What I find fascinating is the old coin is just sort of buried under the buttons. Not mentioned at all yet I would be thrilled to have found just that...LOL Wonderful day hunting you had. Congrats.

Love the CW buttons, 2 in one day great saves! Like Beez said the LC takes a back seat to those finds, too bad....lol One LC makes a good hunt on any given day, but added in with 2 CW buttons makes a great hunt, Big Congrats!!
