I bought my first metal detector in December & have been getting my feet wet so to speak since then. I was fortunate to obtain permission (including a gate key) to a 460+ acre tract of undeveloped land in an area with a lot of history. This area was settled in the 1730's.
Here are my finds from my first 4 trips. Most of them were found along an old Colonial road that cuts through the woods. So far I have located two home sites and a potential third one.
