You are on the Colonial ! Great finds, never seen one with the glass application that is spectacular. Great patina's, and a nice range of finds. WTG!

Thanks everyone. Yes, I am hunting 3-4 times a week right now. Havent done this since before I was married - more than 20 years ago. The last 5-6 pics here were taken in the field with my new nikon coolpix aw110. Finally learned to take macro pics. lol

Glad you guys could get out for some more digging. I tell ya, that place is really loaded with those decorative leather ornaments - you seem to find a few each time there. And I see where a few more buttons started showing up. We had both observed that for some reason you hadn't dug all that many on previous hunts. Looking forward to seeing what you can come up with in the sifter tomorrow. Good luck to you guys!

What's the theory as to what this site was 350 + years ago ? You really are killing it ! A lot of us ( myself included ) are happy
to find a wheat cent these days .

Holy chit. You may be right. If it is it'd be one of the most awesome personal items I ever found. I researched this site completely and know everything from the patent in the 1660s to the land owners through the early 19th century. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

The home of a very wealthy plantation owner. Although he owned thousands of acres on the eastern shore of maryland his home was at this plantation. Clearly I wont best this site for years to come - if ever.
