'47 Quarter

It was date night so I only got out for about 20 minutes after being unable to convince the wife that metal detecting would be good time spent together...

So I went back to the spot where I scored the barber and Merc yesterday and scrounged this one up. I think this is around 16 (pounded) park hunts straight with a silver. The CTX is simply amazing. Got this quarter at about 7-8" surrounded with iron.

Exactly! According to some internet videos, no. But on the other hand it does have limitations. All I know is last week I pulled a KG from 11" surrounded by crap iron, in ground that had seen 300 years of use.

Thanks. Yes, it was nice to see a quarter sticking out of the dirt there. Besides this and the half a week ago, it's been all dimes. I think hitting just dimes is a good indicator that an area has been pounded. None of the dimes found were textbook signals, but were instead scattered and faint.

But the streak lives on. Thought it would die around 10 so I have no expectations.
