Spent a few hours Friday out in the Chesapeake Bay waters, Been fairly Lucky at this spot pulling most of my 12 Gold rings for the year from here. The good is I wear a drysuit and it enables me to get in deep where the other hunters who use waders can't. Been a real nice hole for the last few weeks so hard to tell how many more lie waiting to be found, just hope it stays open for a while longer....the small gold is from last Sunday, never posted just a little guy..the others are from Fridays hunt...Be safe all...

I'll have to get me a dry suit for next Christmas
Nice finds, that must of been fun
Yes ..Thank You
Just being able to get where no one else can when it does happen can pay for a drysuit. I hate the cold, it's 25 right now and I am headed out, but with the drysuit, drygloves, quiled underware and neoprene hood it feels 60....in and out of the water....

I agree. Been there, done that, but with a wetsuit. Anyone know, does a dry suit keep one any warmer? Or just drier?

I would say 100% warmer because your body is not warming the wetsuit/thin layer of water to keep you warm. (your not loosing body heat) Plus with a drysuit and drygloves you dress as needed. The more layers the warmer you are, I have 3 drysuits, each for different water temps...I even wear a light gortex drysuit when the water temps are 60 to 70, and a added plus is the safety issue of water contamination, jelly fish, nasty flesh eating bacteria. One reason they closed several beach's in the late 60's, along with the bay bridge n OC. WHATIFIND Sundays Hunt..My first silver coin of the year, by now I would have no gold and a handful of silvers...the other way around..

It's a bit funny, but those brass pieces, and that black silver, reminds me of the hunts way back when. They just remind me of what they looked like.

Good job!
