Hey all, I finally managed to get out detecting with the Makro Racer today!

It had been sat teasing me all week when I was unable to get out with it.

I must say although I didn't find anything particularly interesting the racer has impressed me. The patch I did today was an area I have been over with the eurotek pro many times and the racer has pulled up loads of stuff the teknetics could not reach.

The weight and balance felt fine to me and it seems very well built and sturdy. So far I have no complaints about the machine and can't wait to put it through its paces on the beach and river foreshore, I think some rain covers are needed first though.

Settings used if I remember correctly were, three tone, 85 gain, 40 id filter and the rest as it comes.

I hope you like the video and please subscribe to my channel.

Also if anyone wants me to do any tests with the racer let me know and I will get it on video.

Here is the link to my first hunt with the racer

Happy hunting all.

Thanks for the video on the new Racer. The depth is very impressive. Also, I really enjoyed your accent!

Hi,
That round brass bit & the first broken bit you got does look WWII related. The 4 hole buttons were for shirts & underwear 1880-1930(maybe a little later)
