I was finally able to get out detecting for 2 hours. :hello2: I could not believe what an awesome day it was, a little chilly at first but golden sunshine all day with temps maybe 70! Snow is now gone (except the piles in places). :icon_thumleft:

It was so wonderful I spent half the time just enjoying the awesome weather! Soaking it in. :headbang:
I expected nothing in the way of finds but at the end of the day after a little rinsing, I scored a 1955 wheat and 78' Canadian cent, also found a 1959 Lincoln. :hello2:

The goodies were a little sparser than normal so I am guessing because of the really harsh winter not many people were out dropping coins and things, but that's ok, I have my eye on the areas the plowed snow was dumped. :laughing7:

Spring has finally sprung (here)! :hello2: :headbang:

To my fellow TH'ers to the north, hang in there spring is on the way! :hello2:

So excited I forgot the pics! :laughing7:

I'm loving the weather. Around 70 degrees in NH today, I went metal detecting in a T-Shirt today. I saw a huge butterfly in the woods that was following me for some of the hunt and a patch of flowers, my friend even got attacked by a bumblebee! April may be my favorite month (except for the mud), I love the feeling of that first warm day after winter. Spring is nice because you know that the weather is getting nicer and you can say bye to the snow.

Anyways, It sounds like a very fun hunt. Happy Hunting :)

OBN - I'm a fairly normal well adjusted person, unless it's snowing! Lol! My family is up here that's why I'm here.

You KNOW the bad wether can't last forever, but sometimes it IS a long, long winter!

Hang in there Rick once the temps start hitting high 60's the white stuff melts rapidly!

Chris you have more faith in me than I do! I loved that show it had a strange but true kind of wisdom.

Thank you guys! You keep me going in the rough times! Much appreciated! God bless!

I made it out yesterday too with my brand new AT Pro... Got 5 clad quarters, 8 stinkin' Lincolns, 6 wheaties, and the norm for trash.... I was surprised at the slight difference in number read out for a wheat compared to a memorial. Coincidence?
Either way, its nice to get back outside!! Thanks for posting up!!!

I found what is either an old spearhead, or an old farm plow tooth. My iPhone camera is broken, I was hoping to post it to figure out what it is. In any event any day that metal detecting is a part of, is a great day.
