I was finally able to get out detecting for 2 hours. I could not believe what an awesome day it was, a little chilly at first but golden sunshine all day with temps maybe 70! Snow is now gone (except the piles in places).
It was so wonderful I spent half the time just enjoying the awesome weather! Soaking it in.
I expected nothing in the way of finds but at the end of the day after a little rinsing, I scored a 1955 wheat and 78' Canadian cent, also found a 1959 Lincoln.
The goodies were a little sparser than normal so I am guessing because of the really harsh winter not many people were out dropping coins and things, but that's ok, I have my eye on the areas the plowed snow was dumped.
Spring has finally sprung (here)!
To my fellow TH'ers to the north, hang in there spring is on the way!
So excited I forgot the pics!
