What is up TNET:hello:
Got out to a Cellar hole with a monster 9-10ft wide chimney..The house wrapped around the entire thing and man that chimney must have made that house cozy and comfy..Ended up grabbing some Colonial,1800's and possibly early 1900's digs..
Well i must say the copper shoe insert was a first:laughing7:

First IH penny in a while.

Totally smoked 1820 Largie..

Token of some sort with a 5 on it..Giant early pewter spoon..

Ladies bracelet..

Some plain Colonial large buttons..
And what appears to be a strange gilted small Colonial button i never found one quite like this one
dunno.gif

The usual relics i needed the small coil "Little Johnny" but forgot to take it..

ALERT!!!!! The Ticks are out in full Vampire bloodsucking force i walked through a brush patch and looked down and no word of a lie i had 20-25 clinging to my leg!!The good thing is i treat my clothes the night before always with Permethrin and they just freeze up when they get it on themselves..Hint: follow directions using Permethrin..

Have fun out there:hello:

~Blaze~

Congrats on the finds. It's threads like this that give me hope. I just found 2 cellar holes on town property that are 100 yards apart in a wooded area. 3 Sisterns are showing and partially unearthed. Even found the well. One cellar is full of water, the other (from what I see is broken glass. There are foundation stones evenly spaced that supported a narrow building out back of one. I hunted the site for about 45 minutes Friday evening. Then I realized I left my pro pointer on the ground. Spent the next 20 minutes looking for it. I was about to give up and leave, when I happened to look down and next to my left boot was the pro pointer. Never found a coin, did find some relics. Think I'll switch to my 5 in DD next time. And I am putting some florescent pink duct tape on the Pro pointer when I do back.

Lots of very nice stuff JB, and the ticks are crazy bad here too! I guess the snow helped insulate them and the cold didn't get to them like I had hoped.

Token looks like a pickers check from a farm. Sometimes they have the initials of the farmer on them too.
