Triple crowns are hard to do! I found three silver dimes today that are all different! Dug a Rosie, Merc, and a Barber! Today I went back to where I found
that 1915 Barber last weekend and found another Barber Dime! Today's Barber dime was dated 1897-S! Just like the one a week ago it was 6 inches deep.
I dug the Mercury Dime on a dirt trail, it was only 2 inches deep. The Rosie was 5 inches in a baseball field. Also dug a 1906 Indian Head Penny! The Indian was
near the barber dime, it was also 6 inches deep. The silver quarter was on top of a gopher mound! Also dug up a sterling silver fork! Total clad was about $8.00.
What a day!

The silver coins are nice but it seems less common to find any sterling silverware intact and in decent shape :occasion14:

Now that is definitely a memorable hunt. I have never had a trifecta of any sort. Great day!

Sterling silverware is something that has always eluded me . Nice coins and grats on the trifecta but I like the fork the best

Spectacular hunt, congrats CHF! Forks have eluded me for years, all I find are spoons, and none of them sterling, yet... Great coin haul too. Sub 8-)

Congrats on a great hunt and for the dime trifecta! That Barber dime is a low mintage (1.3 mill) and worth over $20 in Good. I always envy you west coast hunters for the "S" mints you find- I'd be happy to trade an early large cent for a 1909 S penny!! Continued success to you!
