I started trying to dig nickels about three months ago... I got my first buffalo, then a 14K wedding ring, then two more buffalos... HOWEVER, I have dug about 800 pulltabs in the process. I have great respect for those people that attempt to find gold... or nickels for that matter!

WOW!

That's a lot of signals in one place on earth. Great job...

BTW, I love blue glass. I try and keep pieces of it when I see it. Fun stuff.

Nice! I'll dig about 15 to 25 pull tabs each time out when I hit a park. Wish I had your patients to dig more :laughing7:. If I'm hitting an old lot or some place I can dig freely I'll dig everything that doesn't grunt iron.

Well sometimes they ring in at 53 so I think nickel or small jewelry.
But I love detecting so anything over 50 I cant resist lol

Nicely done! Now that you have the trash out of the way, you'll be able to turn up the sensitivity and hit it again for the good stuff that's deeper.

I am truly sorry sir, but I beg to differ. I am the pull tab king! Both Reynolds aluminum and Alcoa metals are engaged in discussions with my attorneys ( Dewitt Beep & Lowd) regarding my employment as pull tab consultant! Please sir? kindly refrain from stealing my thunder with this nonsense..... I am the original "Pull Tab King! Thank you and as always...... God Bless, Brother Al.:BangHead:

Usually those older ones ring up 51-52 for me. Right in the nickel range. The metal pie piece rings up 51 solid all the time, pretty annoying . But, it you don't dig it, you can't find it. I once dug at a cellar hole where a lot of shooting went on. Dug 26 bullets,1 ring!

You have one really great pull tab in that collection that's worthy of going in your display case.

It's the center one, which is a late 1963 model.

Congrats!
