Found Stunning ELIZABETH sixpence in the Sugarbeet.

Saturday saw me back in the Sugarbeet crop again with the detecting becoming ever more difficult because of the size its getting,so l decided just to aim for the parts of the field that were thinner and also use the tractor tracks. at least l could still detect !. almost gave up as the signals were very few and far between, but stayed about 3 hours . but was well rewarded with a stunning hammered silver coin. a sixpence of Queen Elizabeth 1st. Pheon mint mark (arrow pointing down)
actually dated 1561. Hutch.

Wow - it's extremely rare to find one in that condition, especially the obverse which is in most cases is almost always worn slick. Outstanding find!!
