Found this at a small tear out at an elementary school. It was made for a 1915-1917 Indian chief bicycle. Came up as a 12-46 on the etrac. Not silver but still a pretty cool find.

I'd be happy with that over any common silver coin, nice find.

I would imagine that Chief is a rare bike part . If that is enameled it held up great for almost a century in the dirt . Very interesting and unique !

Thought id throw it in here also.. Urs is in much better shape then mine.. Most of the porcelain was missing.. U still have most of the porcelain ... I wish I wasn't in need of cash at the time or I would've never even sold it. Not sure how u r with ur finds but if u r looking to sell eBay is the way to go.(as another member mentioned). It will def fetch a pretty penny. Or I will throw u a nice Ben Franklin for it[emoji12]

If it's that rare and in such fine condition, perhaps it should be up on the Banner! It is a beautiful badge that's for sure. I'll cast my vote!

Great find...

Any Indian badge is a plus especially that age. Even if slightly damaged.

They are especially rare...

I'd bet it worth in the neighborhood of $800 to $1500...

Got my vote

Really nice relic find, in good condition and rare, awesome! Congrats!

The metal may be a copper mix. Nice Banner find!

I will bet many people would have put that piece in the "Keeper" pile but not the main pile.
I reckon some would have thought trash.

I need to look through my dug stuff from 15 years ago.

A very cool find.
