Anyone ever found one of these? Thankfully I found it feet away from the home heating oil fill, which helped me identify the item. It is a key to open the various oil caps. I would return it to the proper oil company, except this home, my in-laws, was converted to natural gas decades ago. I imagine, due to the specialty of this item, they are not cheap. Not everyone can say that they have that in their tool box. Bet your detector was overloading when you swung over it.
