I have just read & Heard them referred to as Georgia frame Buckles , I Guess they were Designed by a Georgian or were mostly made in GA.

Know a guy that dug a Complete one ( I think 2 years ago now) In my area Needless to say I was kinda Green & this is a Guy who seemed to find Pieces every month or two that I only dream of Finding.

I'm 95% sure the Piece to the left is an Adjuster for a US Rifleman's Buckle.
