Hit a early 1900's but, small yard today.Things were looking bad for me with the kid finding wheats and myself finding nothing but, memorials.
About a half hour into the hunt I finally got a good hit and flipped a plug to see a 34 Washington laying in the hole. A little later also foumd a 45 merc.
Other then a dozen or so memorials for me and a handful of wheats for the kid not much more was found. It was a small yard. Lol
Almost forgot, found a 1960 Canadian penny. Thought it was pretty cool b/c that was my birth year and the 34 Washington was my Dad's birth year.

any 25 C unit is not small in my book it is "LARGE SILVER !!!" Dimes are easily dropped and overlooked but bigger denominations of coinage tend to catch the eye and thus get recovered by someone passing by !!
