Hit an elementary school this evening that goes back to the 1930's. After going slow for a couple hours and getting tons of trash hits, I was about to quit n head home. I headed toward the playground equipment and bam a solid silver tone and out popped the Canadian dime! I still decided to head home but swinging my way back to the truck, bam another solid silver tone right by the parking lot. Dug down and got the 1942 Merc and the Canadian Penny was right in the plug with it!

Sweet!!

I've only dug one silver Canadian coin myself. That dime is a long way from home. Lol

Gotta love the "first" silver coin find from another country thats wanted. I was dying to get a US silver for ever and i just recently did but it ended up being 10 of them at once and three different types! [emoji2]

Thanks for the replies everyone! I was looking at the Canadian Dime with my loop this evening and the 9 in the date appears to be doubled! Thinking about sending it out for grading since this would be my first doubled coin as well. What do you all think? Is it worth the price of grading? Etc?
