Early plastic from 1912 logging camp

All these plastic pieces came from one logging camp (1912) in Western Washington State.
most of the were found over 3 years with eye balling while metal detecting or from sifting.
Some of the pieces are hard rubber and the lice comb could be baleen. The men's ring is a great find because it looks so modern...the ring has no markings, but no modern activity in this site makes think it is 100 y/o. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

I see "Wizard" and "no. 330" beautifully engraved and painted in gold leaf on the lice comb.
I haven't seen any other reference to this comb and would love to know where it came from and what it's made of.

I would say the combs are bake a lite not plastic :thumbsup:

I think the combs are hard rubber, celluloid, and Bakelite...the lice comb could be carved baleen
