Bought a used bounty hunter on Tuesday. Practiced a bit that day and learned a lot.

Went to a site yesterday and found an old iron that didn't have the handle.

And today I found these 3 things. They are all soaking now. Because I'm new I'm digging anything and excited when I find anything

I also found some pieces of tin roof but didn't include those.

thanks NW hoping for some real treasure soon, but its fun nonetheless. hoping for old coins, precious metals or war relics.

Just an FYI. Those symbols on your spoon or fork piece should indicate the makers mark and year it was made. If you could get a real good close up or good description of each symbol we could probably hunt down where and when it came from.

Got permission to hunt a friends house that was built in the 30's. Totally thought I was going to find some legit stuff... and didn't

I still am having a hard time actually locating my targets once I'm digging, I end up digging multiple plugs. (I don't have a pin pointer)

None of the cents were wheats. Didn't even really look at the dates.

The kind of cool find was the telephone piece which I originally thought was a shower head.

I've found a couple of those lipstick tubes, I think they are pretty cool, congrats! Swinging a detector is a lot more fun than cow tipping..

got out yesterday with a friend who is real into civil war history, he read about some places near me, we went and hunted under a bridge but didn't find anything.
