Hubby was outside yesturday morning ,it was very humid, went out to give him something to drink and saw what he was doing.. Smashing the cement (one of those projects ya'll talk about doing ;) ) I'm like 'nag nag' ::) "why are you doing this now ,its hot, lets go swimming.. He said "go get the detector quick (I was studying the dirt pile as he was saying that)and do where I dug up the cement ,maybe there will be something in it".As he said that I spotted it,not where he wanted me to detect, but just laying there wedge in the dirt. With a cocky attitude I pointed and said,"you mean like this" I new it should be old because it was under the cement..He goes it looks like a wheat. I studied more said "oh my gosh its an indian head. 8) " needless to say we were digging and smashing up 2 more old sections of concrete in the yard..ha ha,now he has to fix... :-* we found pieces upon pieces of pottery, glass, nails and old axe head. There was even parts of an old glass bottle mixed in the cement.. by the way, what did they put in their cement years ago? It had about 5 different types of rocks in the center.. chunks..We dug til we hit clay, wich is only about 12.5 inches down..should we go further? We aren't done by far, still have 2 sections to go.. but the remainents of 'Tropical Barry' stopped that.. :-\ I'll take some pics of the shards we found yesturday as we keep going.. We are panning thru the stuff.. Wonder what the neighbors think..lol :P

I Think my Brothers at 213

I thought you were Almost Straight accross
where it says

T. B. Bechtel

& where the T is.

Numbers may have changed if I'm right.

I think Pine Grove Alley goes past the Pool Ballfield
& school ?
