Banner, all the way.

Thank You very much ramjet.

Cool, your probably the first Canuck to post one of those.

Thanks Rick

I think you're probably right, I mentioned it to the wife that I can't recall one being dug on this side of the border, and certainly I really thought for years that you guys were going to do it first out there being so much action with the buttons and history.

Wow!
Call it what you will, there's a chance for us all isn't there, no matter where you live or detect
But that's just detecting, you just never know until it is in your hand

Big congrats! That's a winner!

Thanks Scrappy
I still can't get over the size of this puppy, I'm glad because it masked the iron out and if being the 19MM type it might not have made the trip up.

Ditto on the find//// What is the story of the button? Who brought it to Canada so many years ago. Maybe a souvenir?

shoague,

Lot's of US loyalists moved to Eastern Canada after the Revolutionary war so odds are it came up with one of the veterans.

There's a 5 year gap there, so I doubt it was a Loyalist after the war. The possibilities are endless, and it could have been lost well into the 1800s... you just never know.

I'm still in shock Jim, but you do live in a very old area that was settled by a large number of United Empire Loyalists! :occasion14:

I expect to see this beauty up top before morning! :notworthy:
