I just bought myself a Deus XP detector, and I am so impressed with it!!!!! These pics are from the maiden voyage in a "hunted out" spot that my Tesoro wouldn't find anything else.....Can anybody tell me what the Light Artillery First Regiment button is worth?? I think it's War of 1812 from the searches I found but can't find a value. Also how old are these buckles?? buckle on right looks like early 1700s - coin from just the front pic looks like a Rosa Americana - need pic of back
that would be an early 1700s colonial coin
buttons look like 1700s - so good spot

Thats a lot of great finds. I got my Deus a couple months ago and have been able to find stuff where I have pounded too. Im not sure if its because I am new to the machine or its seeing things I never heard before. I do know a silver dime I found was not heard by any of my Whites machines. I only know that because that is the spot I pounded because 6 silver coins came out of a 5 foot square area.

No one machine can do it all. You might be able to go back in there with another machine and do the same thing. Great job on your finds. Love the button

Nice finds with that new machine! Those LA buttons come in many varieties and are relatively common finds if you live in the right area. Don't be overly concerned with its value but just cherish it as the cool historical recovery that it is.

Great bunch of finds. Yep, the Deus is the best detector I've ever used since I started the hobby in 1990.

I have a CTX3030, but reading these threads has me thinking on how I can carry a Deus, AT Pro, Whites and My CTX 3030 all at once. I would out perform all of you on this Forum.:laughing7:
