61 degrees and sunny, felt like spring. I had a nice three hour hunt at the spot the owner said I wouldn't find anything, lol. Found my second ever Fatty, 1859 and some cool buttons
Enjoy the pix

Thanks Gary
The owner kept telling me no, he kept repeating himself. "my family has pounded this place for years, you won't find anything" I just kept telling him, "it's never hunted out totally, besides it will just be nice spending time outside on your beautiful property"
I told him after he said ok go do it, good luck, that if I find anything interesting I'll be sure to show you. I'm waiting until I'm almost done, I'm afraid now if I show him all the stuff Iv'e found, he might tell "the family" and I'll get the gate!

Why that's simple. Just tell him about that one hole you dug. You know, the one where you found "nothing"?
"Oh, I dug some dirt, found nothing there though. " :dontknow: ;)

Even though I have never found a fat IH, those buttons are my favorites! Very good hunt Brad.

We love it when people say we won't find anything. There's always something left behind! Sweet IHP!

My favorite is that old Indian, she is in great shape for being 157 years old and spending who knows how long in the dirt. I was loving those buttons until I brushed off the dirt and seen 1859 clear as day, lol
Thanks Dave

Great hunt Brad! I love some dusty relics and that first picture nailed it with just awesome patina on those. The dirt at that place sure was kind to them. Nice job man.
