Nice 3 hr hunt.

Today was the only day I could hunt this weekend and it was a quick one. I done pretty well with a couple buckles, a mother of pearl button, what I think is a old slide for a Bola. This thing looks hand made and came from an old site. Also found a real nice 1864 IH penny. Not sure about brass item. Maybe end of sword handle or large knife. Will post in what is it for ID. Thanks for looking

Looks like you done great for a short hunt , that IH is in good shape,the old pearl button is pretty cool also. Not sure on the handle piece, hope someone can ID it for you. Great job[emoji106]

Not sure what it is but I don't think it's silver.

Thanks for your post thrifty. I know nothing about coins so after reading your post I googled the L penny and took my loop and looked for it. It's really hard to see but I swear I see it. Maybe it's just wishful thinking, I can't be sure. The site I visited said the bust is more pointed on the L penny so let me know what you think. This is the best picture I could get. You sure got me worked up.[emoji120] Thanks for any help.

It might not seem like a lot when you see the finds for 3 hours. But, people sometimes tend to forget the trash to find ratio!
That's a LOT of digging and a respectable amount of finds! Nice ones too!
