I went back to the school ground that gave up my last diamond ring. Wasn't expecting anything
but clad and that's pretty much what I got.

See?!? :)

Funny thing happened though. there was this guy walking his dog. The dog
had more manners than the owner. :dontknow:

This guy decided to help me out. Even though he stayed some 100 yards away from he
shouted out, "YOU'RE WASTING YOUR TIME!!!!"

Don'tcha just hate that!?!? :(

Anyway, I just ignored him and just pretended that earphones protected me. LOL
But, I noticed that his dog must've just LOVED that ONE tree! He stayed right there with
his master, watching me. I'm sure it was just because the dog hadn't been walked for a week. ;) LOL

I'm sure it had NOTHING to do with my bending down and digging just about every 5 mins! I bet he was just
beside himself on whether he should actually come over and see just what it was I was digging up all that time! LOL

Actually, Blingie's new shiny-shiny came out on the dig immediately after this moron's yell. :)

Not much in finds but I still enjoyed getting out. Ain't it funny how the Lord works? ;)

Thanks for peeking!

Very nice hunt, glad to see Blingie still loves Jewelry. :occasion14:

I also had an interesting experience at a local park. A guy approached me and said this place has been cleaned out, there is nothing left; I got it all! I thanked him and continued detecting. For a place that has been "cleaned out" by such an expert, I found three Barber dimes, two Mercury dimes, lots of Wheaties and a Morgan dollar. I guess the expert should have turned his detector ON before detecting.

No, No ring, but you found a "gem" of an idiot! Lol!
Nice bling and goodies!
So does Blingie have a silver shiny? Interesting finds!

I've used my head phones many times to run interference between me and solicitators of less than wonderful words!
One was actually laughing....but then if he thought I was telling him "all" that I found...we'll, no :D

Little do they know....very little!
Otherwise you would be the pied piper of bling, with minions following you!

I feel bad for the dog, he was probably embarrassed, by his owner.
I just smile at them, it confuses them. :D

Doomslayers, don't you just hate that?
How could being outside, doing a little exercise, getting closer to God, be a waste of time?

I got out yesterday too. (Back to my 6X Large Cent School).

It was a muddy mess, and the best of the hunt was a few wheaties and some late 1800's brass horse tack, but it was nice to be out.

Had a signal I couldn't recover. High 80's, and weak. Hole started filling up with water faster than I could dig. I'll get it in the spring.

Good to see I wasn't the only one sneaking in a hunt before the storm.

It is a good thing that most folks (at least around here) ignore us or wish us "good luck." The more I know people, the more I like my detector. Congrats on feeding Blingie's addiction. Sub 8-)

I quite understand. There were a few people who detected with me and would get upset with me if I started following them. ;) LOL

Eh?! What ya say?? LOL I do my laughing on the way to the bank.

Well, I'll tell you. I briefly thought about what frame of mind would even come up with that and find it necessary
to try and let the whole world hear their opinion on the matter. But, I stopped. Because I am afraid that even if
I could get my brain around that sort of thinking, that, it might get stuck! And I'd be thinking like him forever! :dontknow:
Not worth the effort.

Congrats on the finds

Yeah, I know. That school we discussed when we were hunting last time is like that, it holds water VERY well too.

He'd have to move over to Blingie, bare his leg and stick it in Blingie's mouth before he'd do any good. LOL

Whadi, Maybe you should try my method of detecting. I attach the coil to the end of my rifle, "just in case." Sub 8-)
